Description: This video introduces the facts about chlorine and the personal protection and first aid methods needed. It discusses the storage, handling and transportation of chlorine as well as how to handle any spills, leaks, fires and explosions.

POOL-12 - VHS -  HAZARD COMMUNICATION (1997)
Length: 16 minutes
Description: An excellent introduction of refresher for anyone who encounters hazardous chemicals. Complies with OSHA 1910.1200, identifying hazardous chemicals, reading warning labels, understanding an MSDS, specific examples.

Length: 20 minutes
Description: The program describes how the OSHA and EPA laws came into being, what the law does and who is covered under the law. Training requirements and other regulatory information is presented.

POOL-14 - VHS -  HOW TO HANDLE CORROSIVES (1989)
Length: 14 minutes
Description: Outlines major precautions for dealing with corrosives of highly acidic alkaline chemicals. Employees will hear from a chemist what properties make a corrosive so dangerous. Will also receive information on the correct personnel protective equipment needed when working with corrosives.

Description: A physician and two university professors explain from different perspectives how solvents and their vapors pose multiple hazards in the work place. This video helps your employees understand how to reduce harmful exposure and its effects…effects that can lead to accidents.

Description: In this information-packed video a doctor and two university professors explain from different perspectives, how solvents and their vapors pose hazards in the workplace. Emphasis on alcohol and how drinking it affects solvent exposure.

POOL-17 - VHS -  FLAMMABLE AND NON-FLAMMABLE COMPRESSED GAS (1989)
Length: 15 minutes
Description: This video helps employees reduce the risk of gas explosion by using a variety of proper handling procedures. Presented in an easy to understand manner, it shows your employee's how to unload cylinders, store cylinders and proper lifting procedures for lifting cylinders.

Description: This video defines what is fire. It discusses the different classes of fire: A, B, C, D and the type of extinguishers for each type. It also demonstrates how to use an extinguisher.

POOL-20 - VHS -  POWER AND HAND TOOL SAFETY (1987)
Length: 23 minutes
Description: This program demonstrates proper methods of selection, inspection and use of hand tools and portable power tools, both on the job and at home. The importance of exercising judgment and control before, during and after the job is emphasized.

POOL-21 - VHS -  POWER AND HAND TOOL SAFETY – LANDSCAPE (1987)
Length: 30 minutes
Description: Demonstrates how to handle and care for landscape equipment. Highlights the weed cutter, power blower, hedge trimmer and chainsaw.

POOL-24 - VHS -  RIDING MOWERS (1987)
Length: 26 minutes
Description: Learn the importance selecting the proper equipment for the job. This program examines the proper use of heavy duty, medium and small ride-on mowers. Proper equipment maintenance, proper care and general safety procedures are also covered.

POOL-25 - VHS - THE CRITICAL POINT (1998)
Length: 30 minutes
Description: This video represents the time and place in which a driver no longer has the ability to prevent a collision. This Smith System video helps provide drivers with the ability to recognize and evaluate potential critical point situations, greatly reducing, or even preventing, serious accidents. Video contains two segments of 15 minutes each.
